My first introduction to music and creativity is as difficult to remember as my first introduction to God. Both have been in my life for my whole life. My pops is a singer, guitarist, bassist and writer himself. My mom is an art school alumni (clarinet), has warm vocals (she taught me how to harmonize) and painted the coolest bedroom walls for us (me and my many siblings) through the years. From my dad’s metal band shows to leading worship as a family in church gatherings to creating the coolest crafts – creativity and creation has always been in my life.

I was born and raised in the United States of America but in my late teens and early twenties I had the opportunity to travel and even live outside of the U.S. Through those years I met people from different cultures, experiences and creative expressions which broadened my worldview, including my musical taste and creativity.

I really enjoy listening to people’s stories (in person, in films or books)! Through my creative work you may get some of my own story, stories of those I know or have briefly met, those I’ve heard about or stories I’ve imagined.

I’m married to my best friend and we have four kids earthside and one on the other side (lost through miscarriage). We’re living in Florida, U.S.A., but dream of traveling and living beyond this land. Our focus is God, family, people, creation, and music.
